Ascend Physical Therapy
Jessica Smith-Blockley has been practicing for over 10 years. She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists, a distinction held by less than 1% of the profession. Jessica utilizes a combination of manual therapy techniques, including manipulation of the spine and extremity joints, as well as various soft tissue and fascial mobilization techniques, along with specific movement re-training and functional strengthening.

Jessica is experienced in strength training and conditioning, particularly with endurance athletes, and can also provide biomechanical running gait analysis and medically-based cycle fitting. Most recently she has undergone training in Educational Capnography, a process of measuring carbon dioxide output in the breath to assess respiratory fitness and breathing behaviors, which has physiological implications at all levels, from patients with persistent pain conditions to elite athletes.
Born and raised in Bend, Jessica is thrilled to be back in Central Oregon and looks forward to helping her community thrive.
